Dining Chair Maintenance Guide: Keep Your Beloved Chair by Your Side for Longer

Table of Content [Hide]

The dining chairs we sit on every day, morning and night, hold the warmth and vitality of three meals and four seasons.

Want it always to look great and be durable? Here are some maintenance tips. Make sure to save them!

Daily cleaning of dining chairs should be gentle.

For wooden dining chairs, wipe them with a slightly damp soft cloth and avoid using strong alkaline cleaners. For leather dining chairs, use special care agents regularly to prevent cracking and aging. For removable fabric dining chairs, wash them promptly; for those that are not, use a vacuum cleaner to remove surface dust, and quickly spot-clean stains with a neutral detergent.

Keeping your dining chairs away from "harmful sources" is crucial.

Do not expose dining chairs to long-term direct sunlight, as wood may crack and deform, and leather may fade and harden. Also, keep them away from heat sources like radiators and humidifiers. Place heat pads on the table to prevent hot pots and ice water from directly touching and leaving marks.

Regularly check the stability of dining chairs.

Every once in a while, check if the screws and connectors of the chair legs are loose and tighten them promptly to prevent increased wear and tear due to shaking. When moving dining chairs, lift them instead of dragging to avoid scratching the chair legs and the floor.

The lifespan of a dining chair lies in the care it receives.

Take good care of it and let it accompany you to enjoy more warm meals and listen to more lively family chats.
